  • 9. Can I use numbing cream?

    Usually, yes! Wearing headphones is fine, but be mindful of moving around. Dancing while getting a tattoo is not encouraged.
  • 11. How long does a tattoo take to heal?
    Initial healing takes 2–4 weeks, but full healing (under the skin) can take a few months. Other things can like hydration and the manner in which you care for it will also make a difference in the time that it takes to completely heal.

    Keep it covered for the first few hours. Wash gently with unscented soap. Apply a thin layer of recommended ointment. Avoid scratching, soaking, or exposing it to direct sunlight.
  • 13. Can I go swimming after getting a tattoo?
    Ummm that's a big fat NO! Avoid pools, hot tubs, and oceans for at least 2–3 weeks to prevent infection.
  • 14. Can I work out after getting a tattoo?
